Our superb ProBase tiles have had a redesign!
ProBase tiles have been made even better by making the installation process so much easier by removing the fiddly clips that you would need to remove, slot them together and then re-fit the clips to secure them together.
Instead, the clips have now been fixed to the side which then interlock.
You can purchase our ProBase tiles with a minimum order of 15 tiles for £6 per tile. Take a look here for a great alternative to concrete and more information on ProBase.
We often get asked what is the main benefit of using a plastic grid system as a base for a shed or summerhouse. There are actually loads of great benefits. Firstly and most important. The Probase plastic grid system with its feet under each cross section is a levelling system. Unlike other cheaper products the Probase grid is designed to level. Once the grids are full of shingle they can be lifted using a claw hammer and using a spirit level are very easy to level.
The next and possibly most important is that the probase grid system for summerhouses and sheds is arguably better than concrete as it is not only incredibly strong but compared with concrete it allows moisture and water to drain away. Concrete is a porous product and water can soak into it and then attack the timber base of the shed or summerhouse. Probase the moisture drains away giving and extended life to the base of your building.
Another key benefit is that the grids are easy to move and work with making them a better solution than heavy and expensive concrete. They can also be moved or removed should the building need to be moved.
- Costs effective when compared to other base systems
- Levelling owing to the feet on the bottom of the grids
- Incredibly strong and supportive
- Allow water and moisture to keep away from the base and do not rot
- Recycled Plastic
- Easy to move and fit
- Have ancillaries to allow the fixing of decking and posts.

This product is NOT the same as other cheaper equivalents that do not have the above benefits. We have been using these grids for 10 years and on all sorts of sized buildings. Like most products there are limitations to their use but they are really fantastci for timber buikldings.
