Over the last couple months, we have been very busy! We have been installing cabins for two schools. The sales and installation team have worked very hard on these projects to make sure they are at the best standard and that they would be ready for the kids when they came back to school.
As you can see, our team worked around the clock to make sure everything was perfect. We first off dismantled the previous building that was on the site to get it ready for their new log cabin. Here we are removing the original base to replace it with our ProBase and Pea shingle (pictured below). The team made sure the base was level for the cabin to sit on. One of the reasons why the customer chose ProBase to replace the timber frame base is that ProBase has a built in drainage system so that water doesn't sit on top of the base and reduces the risk of rotting to the logs near the base bearers. In addition, this is almost always much cheaper than concrete too!
This is our ProBase and Pea shingle base, the weed proof membrane has been placed and the Probase tiles are fitted on top. Once our installers check the tiles are level we fill the tiles with peashingle gravel to make the base secure.
